Worship Service

Services

We worship at 10am on sunday mornings at 233 N Appleton Street, Appleton. Worship is also streamed live from our Facebook page. We also gather at 7pm on Wednesday evenings for Midweek Services. The Men in the fellowship meet on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month and the Women meet on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays. We have no dress code and we have classes for kids from toddler up to Middle School. Services are typically about an hour and 20 minutes long and include some singing, a sermon, a chance to take communion and often an opportunity to participate or share. We don't pass an offering plate and we try to leave plenty of time for conversations and meeting people.

Hello parents of Middle School and High School Teens!

Arlando and Kym Yellowhair have graciously stepped up to help host and facilitate October's teen event! The following are the details of what we have worked out:

The event will go from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The drop off will be at the Yellowhair home at 6pm and we will kick things off with a cookout to start promptly at that time.

Dinner will be hamburgers and hot dogs cooked on a grill, chips, one or two other sides, and various sodas or water to drink.

By 6:45 we will be on the road headed to Neenah to the Burial Chamber, 500 N. Lake Street, Neenah, WI.

After arriving and at the Burial Chamber, the goal is to be in line after deciding which event we will go to first. There will be two events available, $15 each.

Teens can choose to go to one, both, or none. For those who would like to stay back, Damon will be staying at the Yellowhair house with games and activities!

The events that are available that evening in regards to haunted houses are the INSANITY house, and the PHOBIA house.

The descriptions of both are in the following link:

https://burialchamber.com/haunted-house

We would like for the parents to purchase the tickets ahead of time for their teens and their guests so as to expedite the fun after we arrive.

The ticket purchase page is in the following link:

 10:30 AM

 Alecia Park, Appleton

10:30 am Worship Service with the walk to follow service

1. Park address: 1301 W Cedar St. Appleton, WI 54914

2. Wear comfortable clothes & walking shoes - the walk will be about half a mile

3. Bring chairs and/or a blanket to sit on during service. Seating is limited.

4. Lunch will be served following the walk.

Why we are walking:

  • 771 million people lack access to clean water. That’s 1 in 10 people on the planet.
  • Women and girls spend an estimated 200 million hours carrying water every day.
  • The average woman in rural Africa walks 6 kilometers (about 3.7 miles) every day to haul 40 pounds of water.
  • More than 800 children under 5 die every day from diarrhea caused by contaminated water, poor sanitation, and unsafe hygiene practices.
  DONATE HERE

These are the facts.

Please join us in fundraising and walking together in order to raise awareness regarding the clean water crisis that exists in developing countries around the world. The money that is raised will go to drilling fresh water wells in rural Africa to provide clean water sources so that children and their families will not have to walk miles unsafe land together up water that could introduce illness and possible death.

We are fundraising because we believe that all people are precious to God. We are fundraising because we have been given so much and it is fitting for us to be givers. We are fundraising because we believe we can do the most good when we bring others along. Finally, we are fundraising because we believe that true faith is demonstrated in action, and that the faith we claim to have as disciples of Christ would never allow us to stand idle when the ability to help was so simple.
